Residential
Private villas, restored residences, and selected residential-led developments. Discreet briefs handled by a small, named project team.
Position
A private residence is the kind of project where every decision is visible. We do not delegate that visibility to a junior team.
We take on a limited number of residential commissions each year, on the basis that they are interesting briefs led personally. Most are restoration or adaptive-reuse projects on historically significant sites; others are private new-build commissions where the context — landscape, climate, neighbourhood — sets the rules.
How we work in this sector

Restoration, not reproduction
On historic residences we work with the original fabric where possible, replace like-for-like where necessary, and add new work that reads as new.

One project lead, end to end
The director who agrees the brief is the director who runs the project on site. We do not switch teams between phases.
Representative brief
A century-old coastal villa returned to family use. Full conservation survey, restoration, discreet new-build extension, and a year of on-site supervision.
