Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2026
These terms govern your use of berkleystudio.com. By visiting the site you agree to them. They are not a contract for our consultancy services — those are agreed separately and in writing.
About this website
berkleystudio.com is published by Berkley Studio. The site presents our work, our writing, and the disciplines we practice. It is provided for general information; nothing on it should be relied on as architectural, engineering, conservation, or legal advice for a specific project.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, imagery, drawings, the visual identity, and the underlying code — is owned by Berkley Studio or used under licence. You may share short quotations with attribution. You may not republish project case studies or essays in full, reproduce our identity, or use our content to train machine-learning models, without our prior written permission.
Project photography and credits
Photographs of our projects are typically licensed from the photographer, not owned outright. Where a project page does not yet show real photography, placeholder imagery is used; this will be replaced and properly credited before any public launch. If you believe an image on this site has been used without proper credit or licence, please write to studio@berkleystudio.com and we will correct it.
External links
We sometimes link to external sites for context. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact page, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are entitled to send it. We treat any correspondence as confidential to the extent allowed by law, and we use it only to respond to your enquiry. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
No warranty
We make reasonable efforts to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site.
Changes
We may update these terms as the site evolves. The current version is always at this URL.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Berkley Studio is established, without reference to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising from your use of this site will be heard by the courts of that jurisdiction.
