This page explains what information we collect through berkleystudio.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short on purpose.
Who we are
Berkley Studio (“Berkley”, “we”, “us”) is a multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, and heritage consultancy. The data controller for this website is Berkley Studio. You can reach us at studio@berkleystudio.com.
What we collect
We collect three categories of data:
- Contact form submissions. When you write to us through the contact page, we receive the name, email address, project location, and message you provide. We use it only to reply to your enquiry.
- Anonymous usage analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across other sites. It records pages visited, country-level location, referrer, and device type — not your IP address or any identifier we could connect to you personally.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived access logs that include IP address and request metadata. These are used for security and abuse prevention only.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
- We do not run third-party trackers, pixels, or remarketing tags.
- We do not use cookies for advertising or profiling.
- We do not place your contact-form details on a mailing list.
How long we keep it
Contact-form correspondence is kept for as long as the conversation is active and a reasonable period afterward for project archive purposes — typically no longer than three years from the last contact. Anonymous analytics are retained by Vercel under their own retention policy. Server logs are short- lived and retained for up to 30 days.
Where it is processed
The website is hosted by Vercel and email is sent through Resend; both process data in the European Union and the United States under standard contractual safeguards.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or another jurisdiction with comparable data- protection law, you have the right to ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Write to studio@berkleystudio.com and we will respond within 30 days.
Changes
We may update this policy as the website evolves. The current version is always at this URL, and the date above marks the last revision.
